Everyone knows what LB's are right? Weight in pounds..10 lb, 20 lb etc.I've been noticing that the modern teenager is exhibiting the "new" meaning of LB...which I call the "Latte Belly". I think popular trendy drinks, like what Starbucks made out of the Latte, have increased the size of many of our American teenagers. High schools are even selling lattes in their cafeterias these days (I saw some news report recently about a high school selling them for one of there fund raisers)...what the heck is that all about?
I've been calling these kids LB's for a couple weeks...and tonight I realized the double meaning of Latte Belly & the pounds symbol "lb". Kindof sad and funny all at the same time -- but, mostly sad :(
